Term 2 Reflection!

 In Term 2 I went to Unetec to play basketball. The people that were in my basketbll team Byesion, Levi, Kanin, Christan, Vicey, Briana and Pateon. We came third place. The poeple that inspiered me to be the best baskellball player I can are Devin Booker and Chris Paul.

                                                                                       WE read a special book this week in my class called   Jim's letters basted on Anzact  its when  these two brothers write letters to each other one lives in otago and the other brother goes and fight for New Zealand.   

What did I achieve this term?

  

 I  achieved scoring in rugby and in basketball, when I was playing for fun with my friends and family. I like playing rugby and basketball and other sports. I am in the rugby team, basketball team and touch rugby team at Owairaka.

I love playing on the field or on the courts with my friends at break times.  

My season for rugby starts on Sunday. I want to get faster so I can tackle more people. I like coming to school in my Blues top. The Blues are my favourite team from Super Rugby Aotearoa. My favourite player is in that team, his name is Caleb Clarke. I like him because he bumps off people. He is fast and strong. 

                                              

 

How has our backyard evolved overtime

 

First there were only Maori people living in New Zealand. Next there was heaps of British people coming. Then there starting cutting trees so they can build small houses  and shops and hotels . Finally the people of New Zealand had more houses,shops hotels. people started to come from different countries and people started to build stuff.

Now in New Zealand, we have big citys and towns. 

5,ooooo people live in New Zealand.

Today we watched a video about Jacinda Ardern the Prime Minister of New Zealand. She likes to reads kids letters. She has learnt that kids wants to save Maui Dolphins because there are only 63 Maui Dolphin. left in New Zealand.Jacinda is going to buy big drones and fly them out to find Maui Dolphins. The drones are going to take pictures so they can see where they live and go save them so they don't die.
