How has our backyard evolved overtime

 

First there were only Maori people living in New Zealand. Next there was heaps of British people coming. Then there starting cutting trees so they can build small houses  and shops and hotels . Finally the people of New Zealand had more houses,shops hotels. people started to come from different countries and people started to build stuff.

Now in New Zealand, we have big citys and towns.

Today we watched a video about Jacinda Ardern the Prime Minister of New Zealand. She likes to reads kids letters. She has learnt that kids wants to save Maui Dolphins because there are only 63 Maui Dolphin. left in New Zealand.Jacinda is going to buy big drones and fly them out to find Maui Dolphins. The drones are going to take pictures so they can see where they live and go save them so they don't die.

what other animals do you think we need to protect? What would you write to the Prime Minister about?
